UPDATE: It seems Faraday was a little upset that I published an incorrect site count. It is in fact 67 and not 71 drill sites. Guess what? Each site is still going to use 70,000 gallons of water a month. I have also added the PDF map of the project area with dill sites. This was created by Westland, Faraday’s environmental consultant.
Below is a map of Faraday’s proposed 71 67 drill sites on BLM land. Water usage estimates, according to BLM, of 70,000 gallons per month for each active drill rig. Some research finds those estimates could be on the low side. Do you think they will bring their Canadian water with them to use?
This probably means 1 of 2 things. Either Faraday has always planned to expand beyond the land they purchased from the Mercers or they are not finding what they need to find within their property boundaries. And the latter is not bringing the investors they need.
The interactive map below allows you to zoom in and out, click a drill site for additional information, and click on proposed roads (orange lines) that will be created and/or widened.
