Now that the Faraday open houses have concluded, I won’t spend too much time on how the open house format was conducted to avoid questions and answers being heard by the community as a whole. And how the majority of attendees were from mining-related businesses or lobbyists.
I would like this post to show how Faraday failed at notifying the community… purposely.
Not only did they NOT post anything regarding the event on Facebook, the social media platform used by a majority of the community, they frequently posted about it on LinkedIn. With LinkedIn being the platform of choice for business-to-business communications, it is no wonder why the industry turn-out was larger than that of residents of the tri-community. They also placed no flyer in the San Manuel or Oracle post office.
Below are a few examples of the outreach on LinkedIn. Now only if Faraday took as many photos with actual people from the community. Their outreach and transparnecy is a joke.
