It has been over 3 weeks of social media silence from our north-of-the-border junior miner friends. That has to be a record for them.
So we took a trip in to the mountains to see what they have been up to.
To our delight, we saw no signs of Faraday equipment at their Hendricks well location. Previously this location (formerly the Sister Bourne homestead) on their private land stored some excavators, backhoes and various other vehicles. Nothing was there. They even removed the diesel well pump and holding tanks.
Could this be? Was Faraday doing what every other Canadian in Arizona does when the weather gets warm……..Leave?
Alas, our jubilation was short lived. They are still here.
Still drilling in and around their super-duper discovery, “Area 51”.
Pump and holding tanks were relocated to their “Solar Well” location and a drill rig continues to drill in a “less than vertical” incline angle. Their quest continues.
Still nothing showing they have equipment necessary for “re-circulating 95% of the water it’s using for its exploratory drilling back into aquifer”. But what do we know?
Some new additions are two capped well heads right next to Copper Creek, presumably for monitor wells. We have photos and coordinates and will ask BLM if they are aware and gave approval. We fully expect to hear nothing back from them.
Still currently only one drill rig and a small crew. Let’s hope the lack of social media announcements to investors from the Faraday marketing team means Phase 3 isn’t going as hoped.
By the way, the oasis in the desert shown below is just one of many that will be lost if Faraday gets their way. This one will be at the bottom of 136 million tonnes of waste rock per their plan. What a shame.
