This is why most people outside of the mining industry think ESG (environmental, social, and governance) is a joke. It is a series of checkboxes mining companies blindly check for investors.

A local “reporter” “wrote” an “article” about the Faraday Copper/Redhawk Exploration open house that took place on October 7, 2025.

Of the 893 words in this “article,” 813 were copied and pasted press releases and website content from Faraday Copper.

Not one mention of the opposition from various community members and groups that were in attendance. No mention of the certified hydrologist that was there grilling Faraday on their lack of hydrological studies. No mention of the hired PR firm telling the community how great this will be for the community, but then telling the media “It is too early” to state the economic impact. No mention of the slew of consultants and contractors that were wearing “Redhawk” shirts to stack the room with “employees”. No mention of the horrible acoustics and the drone from dozens of conversations going on simultaneously that made it difficult to hear responses and questions. No mention of the music that they piped in this year to make the horrible acoustics worse.

Why not mention these things? Well, to the people who attended, the reason is simple. The “reporter” wasn’t even in attendance. This is also evident by the pictures that accompanied the “article”. All photos were provided by Faraday Copper.

Faraday, please save your “social license” for someone who cares.

Below are the examples of “cut and paste” reporting. Faraday’s words on the left of the photo, “article” on the right.
